OVERSEAS SECTION

The Society has a thriving Overseas Section which comprises over 30 overseas writers from countries as diverse as France, USA, Switzerland, Canada, Pakistan, and Israel.

PROFILE:

Candy Madueno-Horrocks, La Plaz, Bolivia

Although she hails from Bolivia, overseas member Candy Madueno-Horrocks now lives in UK, where she is a member of the Brentwood Writers' Circle in Essex.

Working on the Literary Supplement of Presencia Journal, she met the intellectual elite of Bolivia; poets, painters, writers, and musicians. From there, she went to The Bolivian Times.

Candy studied Philosophy and Literature at the State University, and journalism at the Universidad Catolica. She is currently working on two novels and having recently finished a script for television, has moved on to researching an article about the next Royal Academy exhibition. In her spare (?) time, she enjoys singing with the Baylis Choir at London's Coliseum.
