Born and living in the UK until the late eighties Gwyneth now lives in Spain, in the foothills of the Gredos Mountains. ‘I wanted to learn Spanish went to Madrid and never came back,’ she says. Gwyneth writes in English and Spanish, and has a monthly column in The New Entertainer, an English language free press paper distributed on the Spanish coast. As a translator she has worked for various websites and her literary translations include work on film and stage projects and a number of bilingual children’s books for the independent publishing house Topka
Ten years ago she set up Tantamount, a small business which combines her partner’s design and technical ability along with her computing and language skills. They work closely with major publishing houses as well as having set up a number of websites for English language writers based in Spain.
