We would like to wish all our patrons, members and friends a very happy and successful New Year. 2019 was an exciting year for us as we celebrated our 125th anniversary in style, ending with our Christmas tea when guest speaker Jackie Malton gave a fascinating talk about her years in the police force and how that experience led to her involvement in various TV crime shows. There will be a full report of the event and Jackie’s talk in the forthcoming New Year issue of our members’ magazine, The Woman Writer, where we will also be launching our brand new Mission Statement and Manifesto.
