Jane Cable, writing as Eva Glyn, had a third novel set in Croatia published by Harper Collins imprint One More Chapter on 1st April.
The Collaborator’s Daughter tells the story of sixty-five year old Fran who travels to Dubrovnik to try to discover the truth about her father’s execution in 1944, and to decide what to do with her life now she is free to choose after a lifetime of caring. But if the past is not what it seems, could Fran’s future be different too?

Ethos Publishers Singapore published Josephine (Phine) Chia’s books, Goodbye my Kampong, about her life in her now defunct village. They also published two of her novels which talked about her Peranakan heritage.
Though a small, local Publisher, Ethos is pro-active in promoting its authors. They seized on an exhibition of local products and services to arrange a writer’s corner. Josephine was invited to give a talk about life in colonial Singapore and the how her Peranakan heritage impacted her life. Her talk also encompassed the significance of heritage and culture in modern Singapore.
