We are very pleased to announce details of our House of Lords summer event on 4 June, sponsored by The Ethical ACE. We begin with a delicious lunch in the Cholmondeley Room at 12.30, to be followed by the chance to meet and mingle on the famous Thames-side Terrace. Our President, Baroness Floella, will give a short address and present the trophy to Ella Cook, winner of the Floella Benjamin writing competition. In other news, you will soon start to notice a change in our branding as we gradually introduce a new modern look with a re-designed logo, new press cards for members, and a complete re-vamp of our member magazine, to be renamed The Journal, with former editor Barbara Field-Holmes now back at the helm. There will be some new membership categories coming too, with reduced fees for new writers and students. Watch this space…
